I just worked with my friend and makeup/hair stylist, Robert Garcia, on a shoot this week and I want you to know about him! Not only will his show Split Ends be on tonight at 9 and midnight Eastern, but he has a full line of wonderful products as well! He also has a great concept for a new reality show so I just wanted to spread the word. He can send you a tape of his TV work if you'd like.
He's a wonderful person and I really believe in him! Please spread the word to anyone you think would be interested. Thanks!

Salon Elegant is not only a great place to get a great makeover, but a great place to have a great time! The vibrant personalities, exciting decorations, and the services of a five star salon are all part of the experience. From the minute you walk in the door, you are treated like royalty. Not only is the place fun, but Robert Garcia belongs in some kind of hair hall of fame. He can take ANY head of hair on ANY person and have them walk out looking and feeling like they belong in magazines. I highly recommend you make it a point to make an appointment at Salon Elegant. Not only will you love it, but I guarantee... You will be a customer for life!

I shave my head every month or so, so I don't know how a reality show about hairstylists switching salons became interesting to me. It's late or early in the morning, depending on how you look at it, and boom, I'm watching a show called "Split Ends" on the Style Network. The show was super interesting. It even had this old lady that kept her teeth in her bra then puts them in her mouth when the salon, called Salon Elegant, opens. Then the same old lady goes from a dusty old hag to a glamorous old woman. Amazing what makeup can do, is all I got to say on that one. Then the hairstylists. They couldn't be more different. One's from Chicago and the others from Davie, Florida. One's a flamboyant Latin man, the other is a slightly overweight white woman. One is a big believer in energy, the other just wants to cut hair and make women beautiful. Robert Garcia, I think is his name, is such an impressive hairstylist that one of the women who had her hair cut and colored by him left the Ruby Room so happy that she wanted to come to Florida and have him cut and color her hair there at Salon Elegant. I got to say, watching him cut that particular lady's hair was outstanding. She looked a bit tired, hair looked dull, no life, no bounce, definitely not Vidal Sassoon. Then, boom, Robert Garcia took over, redid her hair then did some other lady's hair at the same time. By the end, both ladies looked and felt great. By watching the show, seeing the lady hairstylist from Chicago struggling in Florida, it was unfair to compare the two hairstylists. Robert Garcia seems to be someone who would excel in any environment. Plus, from the results I saw, this guy is the Truth when it comes to hairstyling. I can't believe the emotional excitement a woman gets with a fabulous head of hair. I'm not complaining, just saying, wow!!!!! Rock on, Robert, rock on, you make women smile the way the men in their lives make them sad.
